POSITION – Accounting Assistant 

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-term, Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Days (8am – 4:30pm, Mon-Fri)

STARTING PAY – $22.00 per hour

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EDUCATION – Associate Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Familiarity with Stage 100 Contractor program would be advantageous

The Accounting Assistant helps with day-to-day accounting work such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, correspondence for past-due accounts, and general customer service. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be assisting the Accounting Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Assists Accountant as needed
• Processing Invoices
• Recording Accounts Receivable related transactions
• Customer correspondence – written, and by phone/email
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounting systems and procedures
• Microsoft Office and accounting software programs
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
