Field Service Technician

If you are a driven individual that likes working outside in the field and being on the road then we have the right opportunity for you. An Oshkosh company is looking to add an experience Field Technician to their team. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

Position – Field Service Technician

Job Location – Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Starting Date – By 1/1/2025

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 3:30pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Expeience

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – Technical school graduate and or engineering degree

Required Experience – Minimum of 5 years experience testing and evaluating low, medium and high voltage electrical power systems, and certified as a NETA or NICET technicians, or equivalent utility, manufacturer or other technical training

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical on-line drawings

• Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems including start up and commissioning

• Perform power system studies as short circuit and coordination, arc flash, and load flow

• Operate an infrared thermography camera and diagnose equipment accordingly.

• Write complete, detailed electronic reports promptly after project completion

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills: including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

• Effective written and oral communication skills to maintain relationships with managers and clients

• Willingness to travel long distances
