Generator Technician

If you are a driven individual that likes working outside in the field and being on the road then we have the right opportunity for you. An Oshkosh company is looking to add an experience Generator Technician to their team. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

Position – Generator Technician

Job Location – Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Starting Date – By January 1st, 2025

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – Depends

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Generator Technician will set up, operate, service and repair load bank systems ranging from 45kw-1500kw

• Will service and do maintenance of customer’s power generator systems on the job site.

• Traveling to other states for work with over night travel.

Qualifications

• Must be self motiveated and have 2+ years’ experience

• Knowledge in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel driven generators, load banks, and electrical control systems.

• Excellent customer service skills are required

• Willing to travel and work overtime

• Strong communication skills and ability to be flexible to adjust to changing fieldwork conditions
