Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Savage, MN
Hours: 8am to 4:30 pm
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and effective communication with management to support warehouse operations.
Essential Functions:
- Receiving & Unloading: Safely and efficiently unload inbound shipments, verifying accuracy against inbound paperwork. Document any discrepancies or damages.
- Storage & Organization: Move and store products in designated locations according to customer or warehouse requirements.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull, prepare, and load products for shipment, ensuring accuracy with picking slips and customer specifications. Document any discrepancies.
- Quality Control & Safety: Inspect shipments for damage and report any issues through proper documentation and photos. Notify management of any concerns.
- Inventory Management: Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Equipment Operation: Operate radio frequency (RF) equipment and material handling equipment (MHE) safely after obtaining required certification.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow OSHA standards and promote a safe work environment.
- Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Adhere to food safety standards for storage and handling.
- Ensure compliance with GMP audits and FSMA regulations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area. Remove loose wood/plastic and sweep as needed.
- Security & Reporting: Assist in warehouse security, report damages to racks and equipment, and keep accurate records for inventory control.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift/move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Exposure to varying temperatures based on warehouse conditions.
