POSITION – Gel Room Packaging Associate

JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE - Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire for great employees

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) (Please note that adjustments to schedules may vary depending on business needs.)

STARTING PAY – $17 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma or Equivalent required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous Manufacturing preferred

Employees will aid in the manufacturing, packaging and labeling of products. Some packaging and labeling personnel take a supervisory role and ensure that the production process runs smoothly. Employees may also be tasked with performing quality checks and maintaining production equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Package finished products and store them properly for shipment
• Apply caps to tubes and assist with transferring tubes throughout the production process
• Label products accurately and maintain adequate inventory of labels and packaging materials
• Set up and make minor adjustments to labeling equipment as needed for different products
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
• Verify product weights using a bench scale
• Assist with cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. frequently

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally

• Basic math skills

• Ability to read and write in English

• Knowledge of the metric system and conversions

• Excellent attendance and punctuality
