The Graphic Design Production Artist will be responsible for preparing and producing visually appealing and effective marketing materials. This includes adapting existing designs, creating layouts, preparing files for print and digital platforms, and ensuring consistency across all deliverables. You will work closely with the design team and other departments to execute projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Production and Pre-Press: Prepare files for print production, including setting up bleeds, margins, and color separations. Ensure files are optimized for various output devices.
- Layout and Design Adaptation: Adapt existing designs for different formats and sizes while maintaining brand consistency. Create layouts for marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and digital assets.
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, ensuring easy access and retrieval of files. Manage version control and archive completed projects.
- Quality Control: Proof all materials meticulously to ensure accuracy and quality before release. Identify and correct any errors in design, layout, or pre-press.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, marketing team, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Communicate effectively regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Technical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of print production processes, paper stocks, color management, and digital output formats.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve production issues, offering creative solutions to challenges.
