Position – Industrial Sewer

Job Location – Muskego, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st and 2nd shift shift - Mon-Fri 6am-2:30 pm OR 4pm-12:30am

Pay - 17.50+

Required Experience – Prior sewing experience is helpful - need to pass sewing test before accepted to the job

Key Responsibilities:

• Select proper parts for production operations.
• Check parts against work order to insure proper type, color, and number of parts.
• Measure parts to verify correct dimensions.
• Carry parts to sewing machine and layout parts consistent with guide marks and operating experience.
• Place parts in proper location and direction.
• Operate sewing machine to attach parts such as logo,
• pleats, pockets, wear faces, drop curtains, windows, velcro, foam, guide strips, etc….
• Change threads and bobbins and adjust tension to produce proper stitching. Assist other sewers in handling and sewing heavy weight fabrics.

Qualifications:

*** Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation**

- Proven experience as an Industrial Sewer or similar role - must pass sewing test before accepted to job

- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines.

- Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics and materials.

- Ability to read and interpret patterns and work orders.

- Excellent attention to detail and quality.

- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines.
