POSITION – Injection Molding Operator (Medical Plastics)

JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 3rd Shift (10:30pm–7:00am, Sunday–Thursday)

TRAINING – First 2 weeks will be completed on 1st shift

STARTING PAY – $17.00–$20.00/hour DOE + $1.50/hour shift differential

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Solid, recent work history preferred of 2-3 years; manufacturing background is helpful

In this role, you will be part of a team focused on producing medical-grade components while maintaining strict quality and cleanliness standards. This employer is looking for individuals who are eager to learn, take initiative, and are committed to long-term employment. Training and orientation are completed onsite, with opportunities to learn multiple areas of the operation.

Responsibilities:

This position includes a variety of production and inspection duties, including but not limited to:

• Operate molding machines and secondary equipment used in production

• Inspect parts throughout the process to ensure they meet quality expectations

• Trim, finish, and complete additional steps required for each product

• Package and label finished goods according to specifications

• Record production activity and complete required documentation

• Identify issues with parts or machines and communicate with the appropriate team members

• Assist with assembly tasks following written instructions

• Help maintain consistent production cycles and workflow

• Keep workstations clean and organized, following cleanroom standards when applicable

• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

• Rotate between departments as needed and support team operations

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

• Capable of standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify small defects and color variations

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting with required protective gear

• Must follow cleanliness guidelines (clean clothing, secured hair, appropriate footwear)

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly

• Understanding of workplace safety practices; prior ISO or similar experience is a plus

• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented mindset

Additional Information:

• Onsite orientation and training will take place at the start of employment

• Employees clock in and out using an onsite time system

• Schedule includes two paid breaks and one unpaid lunch period

• Personal devices (phones, earbuds) are not permitted on the production floor

• This is a smoke-free workplace

• All necessary protective equipment is provided
