About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical and Insurance Billing Specialist to join a leading company in accessibility solutions. Responsibilities:

• Manage and process medical and insurance billing for equipment services.
• Utilize Job Progress/LEAP software and QuickBooks to track and manage billing cycles.
• Ensure accurate claims submission and timely follow-up with insurance companies.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, handle authorizations, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and families to ensure that services align with patient needs and coverage.
• Assist with record-keeping and maintain confidential patient and billing information.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical and insurance billing, with a focus on equipment services.
• Proficiency in LEAP software and QuickBooks is required.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes, billing codes, and claims management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in collaborating with medical professionals and assisting with funding resources is a plus.
