Position – Order / Procurement Specialist

Job Location – Sheboygan, WI

Starting Date – Pending Interview

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 3:00pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience Starting $20.00 Per Hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

In this dual role you will be responsible for production processing and purchasing splitting duties equally. The primary responsibilities of the order specialist is to create job orders and maintain accurate and consistent bills of materials. Primary responsibilities of purchasing specialist are to assist with purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

- Maintain bills of material and routings for standard products

- Create new work orders/jobs from orders received by sales

- Manage work orders and monitor and update job orders as requested

- Close work orders in a timely manner

- Assist with inventory management

- Maintain and create monthly purchase orders

- Analyze pricing of supplies and research lowest cost options

- Assist estimating in obtaining quotes

-Place purchase orders, monitor the status of open orders to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook

- Strong math and analytical skills
