Finish Painter (Powder Line) - First Shift – Watertown, WI

POSITION – Finish Painter (Powder Line)

JOB LOCATION – Watertown, WI

STARTING DATE – Start as soon as TOMORROW!

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (5:30am-2:30pm)

STARTING PAY – $17.00+ per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

The painter on the powder line is considered a finish painter. They are responsible for painting parts that are hanging on a moving line with a powder paint gun.

Requirements

• Physical Demands

  • Reach in a forward manner to place items and take items off the racks

  • Stand and walk most of the shift

  • Work at a more rapid pace depending upon need for product

  • Visual acuity and excellent depth perception are necessary in performing critical functions of this position

• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply.

• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.

• Motor coordination and dexterity are critical in this position.

  • Must be able to coordinate eye and hand/finger movements when placing the parts on the racks.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
