Screen Printing Operator

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Screen Print Operators to join our client’s fast-paced production team in Appleton. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining silk screen printing machinery to produce high-quality custom apparel and promotional merchandise. Whether you are an experienced press operator or have a strong mechanical background with an eagerness to learn, they offer a clean, safety-focused, climate-controlled environment with competitive pay and room to grow.

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st and 2nd shift openings

Starting Pay – $18 to $20 based on shift

Required Experience – At least 1 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Press Setup & Alignment: Set up screens, squeegees, floodbars, and registration on automatic and manual screen printing presses.
• Ink & Color Management: Mix, load, and adjust inks according to job specifications and PMS color matching standards.
• Quality Control: Continuously inspect printed items throughout each run for print clarity, proper ink coverage, accurate alignment, and correct cure temperatures.
• Machine Operation: Run production jobs efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting daily throughput targets.

Qualifications 

• Experience: 1+ years of screen printing or press operation experience preferred (experience with automatic presses like M&R is a plus).
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and acute color perception.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as within a production team.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
