Position – Production Welder

Job Location – West Bend, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift, M-Th (4 x 10hr Days)

Starting Pay - $22-$25/Hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – Minimum of 1 year experience welding in a manufacturing industry or equivalent

This position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product in a manufacturing environment. Weldments vary in type, size, and construction.

Responsibilities

- Set-up and manually MIG weld using Lincoln and Miller welders.

- Produce parts per print and labor standards to achieve production goals.

- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure the correct bead size, length and location for each weldment.

- Inspect quality of welds.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

- Ability to read measurement devices such as tape measure, combination square, carpenters square, T square, etc.

Preferred -Ability to read and comprehend detailed drawings, prints, and work orders
