Position – Welding Lead 

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time 

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift, M-F 

Starting Pay – $25+ BOE

Preferred Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of jobs 

• Assure departmental compliance with all established policies

• Identify training needs and assist in employee development

• Work with foreman to meet departmental goals regarding safety, quality, delivery, an cost

• Follow all safety procedures and protocol.

• Audit housekeeping in assigned workstations daily -Manage time off requests, attendance points, and write ups for team members 

• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

• 2+ years in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment 

• At least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required

• Strong problem solving 

• Strong prioritization 

• Strong communication
