Position – Material Handler

Job Location – Milwaukee, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

Starting Pay – $18 an hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

As a material handler, you will be responsible for the logistic side of a non-profit organization in the Milwaukee area. Some responsibilities include operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers, sorting through food and staging food on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Duties: Receive, store, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
• Operate material handling equipment, including sit down forklifts
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years of progressive warehouse experience.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Forklift certification
