Custodian - Janitor - Cleaner - Part-time Flexible Schedule

Flexible part-time schedule where you can set your own hours! Work approximately 4 hours per day, 20 per week, Monday thru Friday on day shift as a Custodian or Janitor in Chippewa Falls! What a great way to supplement your income!

POSITION – Custodian / Janitor

JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temporary (appx. 3 weeks)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Part-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Day Shift (4 hours per day, Monday - Friday)

STARTING PAY – $16.50-$18.00/hr Depends on Experience

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous experience in a machine shop performing janitorial, custodial, and maintenance duties preferred

We are searching for a Custodian to perform custodial work in the office, warehouse, and production areas to maintain the cleanliness of all facilities.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and scrub floors using industrial cleaning machines

• Remove trash and rubbish from offices, common areas, and production areas

• Empty outside cigarette receptacles

• Clean sinks, floors, and toilets in restrooms

• Dust and wash walls and blinds, clean ceilings, and dust and polish light fixtures

• Place all cardboard into the recycling machine as appropriate

• Clean carpets and rugs

• Paint walls, railings, and other designated areas as required

• May sweep walks, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks

• May wax and polish floors

• Report any necessary building repairs to the maintenance department

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a machine shop performing maintenance mechanic duties preferred

• Basic math knowledge with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, cleaning product labels, building signs, and/or procedure manuals

• Good attendance and punctuality

• Operates with little or no direction; successfully achieves goals and objectives while working in an autonomous environment knowing when to provide updates or ask for assistance
