Position – Router machine operator

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st shift

Starting Pay – $18+

Required Experience – Prior cnc router exp is helpful

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC routers and other related machinery according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Load and unload materials onto the router table safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report more complex problems to the maintenance team.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Interpret technical drawings and programming instructions.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.

Qualifications 

• Proven experience as a Router Operator, preferably with CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A strong commitment to safety.
