We are currently hiring for a Bindery Operator in Eau Claire. With this role you will be helping in all areas of production and be part of a process that prides itself on being efficient and professional. This position has many duties and responsibilities all that make the bindery process efficient.
POSITION Bindery Operator
JOB LOCATION Eau Claire, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM Long-term, Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 2nd Shift (3: 00pm-11pm or 1am Mon-Fri)
STARTING PAY $15-$21 per hour depending upon experience
BENEFITS Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Previous manufacturing experience preferred

The Bindery Operator will run and maintain machines that bind printed pages to produce books, magazines, catalogs, and other publications.
Responsibilities:
- Operates machinery to cut, fold, glue, trim, bind, and finish the final printed product.
- Reads work orders and sets the machine in accordance with job specifications.
- Completes trial run and evaluates the quality and appearance of the product.
- Adjusts machinery as needed prior to starting the project.
- Ensures that company s safety regulations and procedures are followed.
- Ensures that binding machines are in proper working order.
- Sends completed orders to shipping department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery.
- Ability to work with stamping, trimming, pressing, and binding machines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
