An Ozaukee County employer seeks an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Assembler for an immediate need.
With your experienced circuit board assembly and advanced mechanical aptitude, you will help build and launch a new product line. Working in a small team environment, and under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, you will perform varied tasks of intermediate complexity.
Responsibilities:
- Reading electrical blueprints and Bills of Material to assemble circuit & electronic boards from concept through production.
Wire, soldering power supplies and circuit boards.
- Assembling within a small production environment.
- Performing quality control testing as you assemble and at finished product.
- Trouble shooting and offering solutions.
-Participate in process & product improvements.
Perform tasks of intermediate complexity.
Qualifications:
-Associate Degree in Applied Engineering is requested.
-Ability to use hand tools and circuit board soldering techniques. MUST HAVE previous soldering experience.
-Past experience with procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
-Ability to use various electronic and electrical devices.
-Experience working with board manufacturers is requested.
-Proven experience with QC, testing, debugging, and resolving product issues.
-Good communication and problem solving skills.
Good hand/eye coordination working with finer assembly.
The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude and inquisitive nature.
