Job Description

Purpose The Assembler is required to follow prints and directions to assemble parts and sub assemblies.
Perform other production tasks as required.
The Assembler works to achieve the quality and delivery goals of the company
Safety Follow all safety policies, procedures, rules and work methods.
Promptly reports injuries for timely diagnoses and medical treatment Make practical safety suggestions so support continuous improvement in safety.
Responsibilities Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub assemblies, tools, and materials.
Organizes parts and sub assemblies for efficient assembly process.
Examines parts for proper fit.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component/product.
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer' s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform a variety of other production tasks and assist throughout the shop as required.
Adjust work routines to meet scheduling demands.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Comply with safety rules as outlined in.
Comply with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures, and work-instructions.
Perform repetitive work more than 10 hours per day, including weekends.
Read fine print and distinguish colors.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
