Position Machine Operator Level 1 Bakery
Job Location Appleton, WI/busline
Employment Term Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) 1st shift 4am-2pm
Starting Pay $17 an hour
Experience - Machine operating
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper GMP s and housekeeping
- Operating Equipment Combi line, bread line
- Loading and unloading large real ovens ( training Provided)
- Maintaining quality control trough timing, batch temps, raw dough scaling weights
- Giving some direction to other employees as necessary
- Perform all jobs in plant as assigned
- Operating equipment (training provided)
- Basic quality control
- Working on ovens
- Giving some direction to other employees
Requirements
- Ability to understand English
- Read and write English
- Ability to count and do basic math; add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals in English or Spanish
- Ability to read thermometers if applicable
- Ability to understand and operate scaling equipment (training provided)
Work Conditions:
- Warm to hot in the summertime
- Moderate to heavy lifting and pushing
- Repetitive movements
