Starting Pay $14.00/Hr

Required Experience Experience working in manufacturing
The primary role in this position is to build and assist in the design of new assemblies.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of wire harness, assembly processes and practices, tooling and fixtures desired. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, math and measuring skills. Ability to work independently and be a reliable self-starter. Ability to work with others collaboratively. Ability to read and comprehend prints, specifications, tolerances and processes. Excellent time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain relationships in stressful situations. Page 2 of 2 Understanding of electronic/electrical and electro-mechanical devices. Qualifications: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in manufacturing environment. Familiar with ERP systems including BOMs, job routings and labor standards. Good understanding of electro-mechanical devices and possess a mechanical aptitude. Strong MS Word skills required. Good written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with manufacturing documentation standards (BOM, ECO, revision control, drawing interpretation). Excellent communication skills including the ability to read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs), schematics, prints, and drawings. Preferred: Familiar with RoHS and non-RoHS materials. Familiar with IPC 620 and quality standards. Familiar with ISO 9001. Knowledge of wire harness, assembly processes and practices, tooling, and fixtures. Shoptech E2 or Epicor Vantage system or similar ERP system knowledge preferred MS Visio experience (or similar) preferred. Physical Requirements/Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crouch, bend, walk, climb stairs and navigate ladders as necessary. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time (up to eight hours.) Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and the ability to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus and discern colors. Ability to tolerate moderate noise level in the work environment.
