The Sanitor is responsible for supporting the sanitation food safety program by focusing on proper cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and building in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies, FDA and OSHA regulations.
POSITION Sanitation Tech
STARTING PAY $21.50/hour
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 3rd Shift (10pm-6: 30am, Mon-Fri), plus OT

EMPLOYMENT TERM Temp-to-Hire
Job Duties :
- Perform basic wash area duties.
- Perform basic machine disassembly/setup for cleaning.
- Recognize and address equipment needing deep cleaning.
- Properly use chemicals to perform cleaning tasks effectively and safely.
- Perform basic janitorial duties (e.G., emptying garbage, sweeping, stocking supplies)
- Report employee safety, food safety, and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 1-year minimum working with production equipment or 1 year working in a food plant as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machine
- Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps.
- Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma/GED
