We have positions open on 2nd shift in Chippewa Falls performing Technical Assembly work.

POSITION Technical Assembly Specialist
JOB LOCATION Chippewa Falls, WI
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 4: 30pm-3: 00am)
STARTING PAY $17/hr Depending on experience

EDUCATION HS Diploma or Equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 1 to 3 years related manufacturing experience preferred; preference to prior metal fabrication

  • Ensure fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance of assembly components and sub-assemblies and ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Prepare and use fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.
  • Read, interpret and follow detailed blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
  • Complete all paperwork required including, clocking in/out of jobs and issuing components/hardware through the and ERP.
  • Utilize hand and pneumatic tools safely to install and remove temporary fasteners, countersink holes, deburr parts, rivet parts, install and torque bolts/nuts.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.
  • Pack parts for shipping.
  • Perform inspection checks per quality documentation and control plan; document results.

  • Assist in other work areas as assigned

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders
  • Possess a combination of dexterity and mechanical skills with the ability to determine and decipher instruction and communication.
