MIG Production Welder
Are you a Production Welder seeking a new opportunity?
Position Production Welder
Job Location West Bend, WI
Starting Date Immediate
Employment Term Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) 1st Shift
Starting Pay - $20-$25/Hour
Benefits Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience At least 2 years experience
As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for manual welding of high-quality parts, subassemblies and finished product in a manufacturing environment. Weldments vary in type, size and construction.
Responsibilities
- Set-up and manually MIG weld using Lincoln and Miller welders.
- Produce parts per print and labor standards to achieve production goals.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure the correct bead size, length and location for each weldment.
- Inspect quality of welds.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a minimum of three years production welding experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read measurement devices such as tape measure, combination square, carpenters square, etc.
